Torrequebrada Golf Club - Malaga Spain

Torrequebrada golf course, in Benalmádena on Spain´s Costa del Sol, opened in 1976. The course was designed by José "Pepe" Gancedo, one of Spain´s most promising amateur golfers, who has since designed many golf courses in Spain, in the rest of Europe and in the States. It is considered one of the best courses in Europe.

Known locally as "The Beast", this challenging course features a large number of lakes and bunkers that make each hole a different experience to the next.

There are eight dog-legs in total and with testing water hazards coming in to play on nine of the holes, you need to be accurate off the tee if you want to hit the greens in regulation.

It is a well-manicured track, with the fairways being in particularly good condition.

There are also stunning views across the sea that just add to the beauty of the course.
